Project based learning allows young people to take ownership of their education by using what they learn in the classroom and applying it to real world problems.

YCSC teachers provide young people with the appropriate modifications and accommodations in order to ensure that learning is accessible to all students.
Critical Thinking Skills
YCSC teachers work towards elevating the level of thinking used by the young people by providing them with the tools and skills necessary to ask questions, developing their own answers, and participate in meaningful discussions.
